Welcome On Bord wiht us in Malta: Our Sailing Yacht offer you a Holiday in Malta,
one mix of Bed On Boat and Sailing Cruise.
From Malta mainland to Comino and Gozo, see all the best attractions of this gem of an island from
the sea and from the land.
This tiny Mediterranean country is actually part of an archipelago of five islands, only three of which
are inhabited (the other two are Gozo and Comino). But it's the island of Malta and the port of Valletta
(designed by a colleague of Michelangelo) at which the cruise sail yachts call.
From 23th April to 1nd May
Boarding at the marina close to Valletta town. Relax, based on time of arrival you can visit Valletta, all bus routes start and end in the capital city. Valletta is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, thanks to its rich historical value and links to the Knights of Malta, who built the city in the second half of the 16th century. Republic Street is the main shopping street in Valletta and runs from City Gate downhill to near Fort St Elmo on the tip of the peninsular.
Some Valletta's attractions ar the St Johns Cathedral, Grand Master's Palace and Armouries, Merchants Street Market 11, & Indoor Market, Fort St Elmo -
Or simply visit the gardens Upper Barrakka allowing a breathtaking view of Grand Harbour (natural fjord) with the fortress of St. Angelo and then go to the most popular wine bars, which offer a very relaxed atmosphere, a wide variety of wines.
You can move by the typical local Bus to the close neighbor towns and have a nice walk in Sliema and St Julian's. Which are now the majors residential and tourist areas, St Julian's merges with Paceville, Malta's main nightlife centre where there are clubs, casinos and numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. Picturesque Spinola Bay is still used by fishermen whose traditional boats are housed just below the restaurants. The bay is particularly attractive at night and as a venue for open-

the morning sailing along the coast towards Comino and Gozo. In about 1.5 hours we arrive in the famous Blue Lagoon in Comino for a pleasant stay, after we reach the very close Gozo Island.
There we suggest to have a tour with the local folk bus to Victoria (the most important center) with its imposing monuments like the cathedral. Visit the most famous place in Gozo: the megalithic temples of Ggantija, built some dating back to the Copper Age (about 5 thousand years) and declared by UNESCO as "humanity's cultural heritage too." Return to the port of Gozo.
Circumnavigating Gozo you will see; The Inland Sea is a small sea lake connected to the open Mediterranean Sea by a narrow tunnel through the cliffs. It is thought that the Inland Sea started life as a tunnel leading to a ginomous sea cave andthen the roof of the cave colapped. Most of the buildings are boat housed with a few fishermens dwellings with a tiny bar. The Fungus Rock is 60mt. rock where the Fungus Gaulitanus, which grows on the rock had medicinal qualities and was used by the Knights of St. John, here a protected and amazing bay allow us to have a lunch absorbed by the nature. The stunning Blue Window is a natural opening, straight and perpendicular, is cut into the rock with an equally straight and huge horizontal roof.
Overnight in Gozo.
We sail back to Malta and relax in a free day, we suggest to go Sunday Morning Market, which is held outside Valletta's city walls, in front of St. James Bastion & St. James Counter Guard at the side of the bus station. This is the largest market in Malta and is interesting to have a look around. to before enjoying again the night life in St Julian's.
We suggest to rent a car and explore the north of Malta, through streets and alleys you can see all sorts of very different landscapes and free from population centers. Given the variety of landscapes from the territory, upon the kind of view you prefer: waves crashing against steep cliffs, and arid rocky scrubland covered or hidden, lush valleys. Also you can visit archeological sites such as St. Paul's Catacombs in Rabat or the set of the movie Popeye who now is an amazing town on the sea "Popeye Village."
Upon your flight time you can desembark or prepare for the Adventure crossing to Italy with the professional crew. Minimum of sailing experience is requested.
The above itinerary is a suggested itinerary. Depending on how you feel and which are the best days for sailing, we can change days to go exploring Comino and Gozo Islands.
